CTFCU operates 9 offices throughout the Carolinas. In North Carolina, we have branch locations in Charlotte, Cornelius (Lake Norman), Gastonia, and Raleigh. In South Carolina, we have branch locations in Columbia, Greenville, and North Charleston.

CTFCU does not participate in shared banking at this time.
The owner of the ATM decides the surcharge fee for cardholders. CTFCU-owned ATMs are free to use for our members.
We understand that our members may not always be close to one of our ATMs when they need cash. This is why we offer our Rewards Checking benefit of ATM Refunds. We refund up to $25 when certain qualifications are met.

During non-holidays, our normal business hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. On Tuesday and Wednesday we are open from 9 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
We are closed on Saturday, Sunday and for observed Federal holidays.

Currently, our branches do not have coin counters. However, all of our branches do take rolled coins. Limited quantities of coin wrappers are available at our branches upon request.
Non-members may present a check to us drawn off of the account of a CTFCU check members. Restrictions and fees may apply.

CTFCU does not exchange foreign cash items for U.S. currency. We also do not provide credit for foreign currency, as if it is U.S. currency.
In order to change an account number, you will need to close the current account and open a new one. Once the original account has been closed, you may apply for a new membership.

Your card is valid until the last day of the expiration month. A new card will be re-issued automatically before the expiration date. Make sure we have your updated address to avoid any delays in receiving your card.
What are Temporary Debit Cards?
Temporary debit cards are a means to access funds while members await their permanent debit card.
How can I receive a Temporary Debit Card?
To receive a temporary card, members will need to visit a branch. Temporary cards cannot be mailed.
How long will they remain active?
The cards will remain active until the member activates their permanent card. It is important to destroy your temporary card as soon as your permanent card arrives.
Should members use temporary debit cards to set up recurring payments?
Temporary debit cards should not be used for automatic or recurring payments. Recurring payments can be established after the permanent card is received.
You can order online through Deluxe if you have a current checking account with CTFCU. Other options include contacting us by mail, visiting your local branch, or emailing memberservices@ctelco.org.
Yes, there are two methods for making a CTFCU loan payment.
- If you wish to transfer the payment from your CTFCU deposit account, log into online banking and use the 'Quick Transfer' option to complete the payment.
- For loan payments orgininating from non-CTFCU deposit accounts or credit cards, make online payments here. (fees apply)
Yes and No.
A CTFCU loan payment cannot be processed directly from your credit card as a purchase. However, there are other options to utilize your credit card to make a loan payment. A CTFCU member can use a credit or debit card (from another financial institution) to make a loan payment by visiting our make a loan payment page and paying the applicable processing fee. Current CTFCU credit card holders wishing to make a loan payment directly from their CTFCU credit card can do so through making a cash advance or by using a credit card convenience check (higher interest rates or fees usually apply). Any amount disbursed as a cash advance will not offer the opportunity to earn Cash Back rewards.
