Charlotte, N.C. — October 8, 2025 — The Board of Directors of Carolinas Telco Federal Credit Union (CTFCU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jimmy Womack as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Womack joined CTFCU in 1992 and has held multiple leadership roles, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer. With more than 30 years of experience in credit union operations and strategy, he brings a deep understanding of the organization’s values and the evolving needs of its members.

During his tenure, Womack has overseen initiatives that have modernized operations, enhanced digital banking services, and improved overall member experience. As Interim CEO over the past 18 months, he provided steady leadership through a period of transition, maintaining the organization’s financial strength while positioning CTFCU for long-term success.
Under Womack’s leadership, CTFCU plans to continue expanding its community partnerships and deepening its regional impact across North and South Carolina.
